GTA

        Grand Theft Auto, officially known as GTA, is a British video game series created by David Jones and Mike Dailly then later by Dan and Sam Houser and game designer Zachary Clarke. It is primarily developed by Rockstar North in United Kingdom and published by rockstar games. The name of the series is derived from "grand theft auto" , referring to motor vehicle theft. The series has won multiple awards. The game is set in fictional locales American cities, while as expansion for original was based in London. The subject if the games is usually a comedic satire of American culture, but the series has gained controversy for its adult nature and violent themes. The series focues around many different protagonists who attempt to rise through the ranks of the criminal underworld, although  their motives for doing so vary in each game.

           Each game in this series allows players to take on the role of a criminal or a wannabe in the big city, typically an individual who plans to rise through the ranks of organized crime through the course of the game. The player is given various missions by kingpins and major idols which must be completed to progress through the storyline. Assassinations and other violent crimes are featured regularly. Occasionally taxi driving, firefighting, street racing. bus driving, or learning to fly helicopters and fixed-sing aircraft are also involved.

           Online shopping or online retailing is a form of electronic commerce which allows consumers to directly buy goods or services from a seller over the internet using a web browser. An online shop evokes the physical analogy of buying products or services at a shopping center; the process is called business-to-consumer(B2C) online shopping. In the case where a business buys from another business, the process is called business-to-business (B2B) online shopping. The largest of these online retailing corporations are Alibaba, Amazone.com and e-bay. With the growth of online shopping,comes a wealth of new market footprint coverage opportunities for stores that can appropriately cater to offshore market demands and service required.

                                            History

          The first world wide web server and browser, created by Tim Berners-Lee in 1990, opened for commercial used in 1991. Thereafter, subsequent technological innovations emerged in 1994 online banking, the opening of an online pizza shop by Pizza Hut, Netscape's SSL and Intershop's first online shopping system. Amazone.com launched its online shopping site in 1995 and ebay was also introduced in 1995.

                                            Costumers

             Online customers must have access to the Internet and a valid method of payment in order to complete a transaction (e.g. credit card, Paypal etc).  Generally, higher levels of education, and personal income correspond to more favorable perceptions of shopping online. In December 2011 study, Equation Research surveyed 1500 online shoppers and found that 87% of the tablet owners made online transactions with their tablet deceives during the early Christmas shopping season. 

                                                     

                                                                   

John Deere

              Deere and the company, also known as John Deere, is an American corporation located in Moline, Illinois and is one of the largest manufacturers of the agricultural machinery in the world. They manufacture construction equipment, forestry equipment and agricultural equipment.  The company's slogan is "Nothing Runs Like a Deere" and has a picture of a leaping deer as a logo(<a href="http://www.greenfarmparts.com">john deere parts</a>), a word play pun on "nothing run like a deer". The company's products are also identifiable by its distinctive shade of green paints, usually augmented by yellow trim.

                John Deere manufactures a wide ranges of products, with several models of each in many cases.

Final Fantasy

             Final Fantasy is a media franchise created by Hironobu Sakaguchi, and is developed and owned by Square Einx. The franchise centers around a series of fantasy and science fantasy role-playing video game(RPG), but includes motion pictures, anime, printed media, and other merchandise. The first game in the sequels. published in 1987, was conceived by Sakaguchi as his last ditch effort in the game industry;  the title was a success and spawned sequels.

              Although most Final Fantasy installments are stand-alone stories with different settings and main characters, they feature identical elements that define the franchise.  Recurring elements include plot themes, character names, and game mechanics. Plots center on a group of heroes battling a great evil while exploring the characters' internal struggles and relationships. Character names are frequently derived from the history, languages, and mythologies of cultures worldwide.

              The series has been commercially and critically successful; it is Square Enix's best selling video game franchise, with more than 100 million units sold, and one of the best-selling video game franchises. It was awarded a star on the Walk of Game in 2006, and holds seven Guinness World Records in the Gamer's Edition 2008. 

             The first installment of the series  premiered in Japan on December 18, 1987. Subsequent titles are numbered and given a story unrelated to previous games; consequently, the numbers refer more to volumes than to sequels. Many Final Fantasy games have been localized for markets in North America, Europe, and Australia on numerous video game consoles, personal computer(PC), and mobile phones. As of September 2012, there are 35 games in the franchise.

Basketball

         Basketball is a sport played by two teams of five players on a rectangular court. The objective is to shoot a ball through a hoop 18 inches in diameter and 10 feet high to a backboard at each end. Basketball is one the most popular and widely viewed sports in the world. A team can score a field goal by shooting the ball through the basket during regular play. A field goal scores 2 points for the shooting team if the player is touching or closer to the basket than the three-point line, and three points if the player is behind the three-point line. The team with the most points at the end of the game wins, but additional time may be issued when the game ends with a draw.

        The ball can be advanced on the court by bouncing it while walking or running or throwing it to a team mate. It is a violation to move without dribbling the ball, to carry it, or to hold the ball with both hands then resume dribbling Violations are called "fouls". A personal foul is penalized, and a free throw is usually awarded to an offensive player if he is fouled while shooting the ball, As well as many techniques for shooting, passing, dribbling and rebounding, basketball has specialized player positions and offensive and defensive structures. Typically, the tallest members of a team will play "center", "power forward" or "small forward" positions, while shorter players or those who possess the best ball handling skills and speed play "point guard" or "shooting guard".

You Tube

        You Tube is a video sharing website, created by three former PayPal employees in February 2005 and owned by Google since late 2006, on which users can upload, view and share videos. The company is based in San Bruno, California, and uses Adobe Flash Video and HTML5 technology to display a wide variety of user-generated video content, including movie clips, TV clip, and music videos, as well as amateur contents such as video blogging, short original videos, and educational videos. Unregistered users can watch videos, while registered users can upload an unlimited number of videos but have to be registered to upload videos to You Tube.
 
        Viewing You Tube videos on a personal computer requires the Adobe Flash Player plug-in to be installed on the browser. The Adobe Flash Player plug-in is one of the most common pieces of software installed on personal computers and accounts for almost 75% of online video material. All You Tube users can upload videos up to 15 minutes each in duration. Users who have a good track record of complying with the site's Community Guidelines may be offered the ability to upload videos up to 12 hour in length, which requires verifying the account, normally through a mobile phone.

       Most videos enable users to leave comments, and these have attracted attention for the negative aspects of both their form and content. In 2006, praised web 2.0 for enabling "community and collaboration on a scale never seen before", and added that You Tube "harness the stupidity of crowds as well as its wisdom".

Anime

        Anime are Japanese animated products featuring hand-drawn or computer animation.The term, "anime" itself did not emerge until the mid 1980, and its intended meaning of the term sometimes varies depending on the context.Arguably, the stabilization approach to the meaning may open up the possibility of anime produced in the countries, other than Japan. Yet, for simplicity, many Westerners strictly view anime as an animation product from Japan. The earliest Japanese animation dates to 1971, and many original Japanese animations were produced in the ensuing decades.Anime is primary used for animated T.V series, featured films, and Internet-based releases. Both hand-drawn and computer-animated anime exist. As the market for anime increased in Japan, it also gained popularity in East and Southeast Asia. Anime is currently popular world wide.

          Japanese write the English term"animation"; anime in short for this. Many sources claim that anime derives from the French phrase dessin animé, however this is debated. The pronunciation of anime in Japanese giffers signigicantly from the Standard English, which has the vowels and stress. In Japan, the term anime does not specify an animation's nation of origin or style; instead, it serves as a blanket term to refer to all forms of animation from around the world. English-language dictionaries define anime as "a Japanese style of motion-picture animation" or as "a style of animation developed in Japan".

Video Games

           A video game is an electronic game that involves human interaction with a user interface to generate visual feedback on a video device. The word video in video game traditionally referred to a cathode ray tube(CRT) display device, but it now implies any type of display device that can produce two or three dimensional images. The electronic system used to play video games are known as platform. These platform range from large mainframe computers to small handheld devices. Video games have gone on to become an art form and industry. Video games typically use additional means of providing interactivity and information to the player. Audio is almost universal, suing sound reproduction devices, such as speakers and headphones. Other feedback may come via haptic pheripherals, such as vibration or force feedback, with vibration sometimes used to simulate force feedback.

           Early games used interactive electronic devices with various display formats. the earliest example is from 1947- a "Cathode ray tube Amusement device" was filed for a patent on 25 January 1947, by Thomas T. goldsmith Jr. and Estle Ray Mann, and issued on 14 December 1948, as U.S Patent 2455992.
        Inspired by radar display tech, it consisted of an analog device that allowed a user to control a vector- drawn dot on the screen to simulate a missile being fired at targets, which were drawnings fixed to the screen.

God of War

         God of War  is an award-winning, critically acclaimed, and the best-selling action-adventure video game series loosely based on Greek Mythology. Debuting in 2005, the series has become a flagship title for the PlayStation brand, consisting of seven games across multiple platforms. The main trilogy and is prequel- God of War I, II, III, and Ascension-were developed by the Sony's Santa Monica Studio and published by Sony Computer Entertainment (SCE) for PS2 and PS3 video game consoles. Ready at Dawn developed the PSP installments- Chains of Olympus and Ghost of Sparta-which were also published by Sony Computer Entertainment. Two collections featuring the remastered versions of both PS2 installments-God of Collection and both the PSP installments-God of War Saga- was released on August 28, 2012. For PS3 God of War I,II,III and both the PSP God of War has been released on the PS3.

        The central character of the series is Kratos, a Spartan warrior tricked into killing his wife and child by his former master, the God of War Ares. Kratos eventually kills Ares at the behest of the goddess Athena and takes his place as the new God of War, but is still haunted by the nightmares of his past. Kratos is eventually betrayed by Zeus,  the king of the Olympian Gods. Revealed to be a demigod and the son of Zeus, Kartos now must seek revenge against the gods for their Machinations. What follows is a series of attempts to free himself form the influence of the gods and the Titans and exact revenge.

     The series consists of six single-player only games, and a seventh that includes multiplier. Each game typically features a third person , fixed cinematic camera. The player controls the Kratos in a combination of combat, platforming, and puzzle game elements to achieve goals and complete the story. 

Football

      Football or also known as soccer, is a sport played between two teams of eleven players with a spherical ball. It is played be 250 million players in over 200 countries, making it the most popular sport in the world. This game is played on a rectangular field with a goal at he each end. The object of the game is to score by using any part of the body beside the arms and hands to get the ball into the opposing goal. The goalkeepers are the only players allowed to touch the ball with their hands or arms while it is in play and then only in their D box area. Players mostly use their feet to strike or pass the ball, but may use their head or torso to strike the ball instead. The team that scores the most goals by the end of the match wins. If the score is tied at the end of the game, either a draw is declared or the game goes into extra time and then penalty shootout depending on the format of the competition. The laws of the game were originally codified in England by The Football Association in 1863.

      A standard adult football match consists of two periods of 45 minutes each, known as halves. Each half runs continuously, meaning that the clock is not stopped when the ball is out of play. There is usually a 15 minute half-time break between halves. The end of the match is known as full time. The referee is the official timekeeper for the match, and may make an allowance for time lost through substitutions, injured players requiring attention, or other stoppages. The referee alone signals the end of the match.

Film

        A film, also called a movie or motion picture, is a series of still images which, when shown on a screen, creates the illusion of the moving images. A film is created by photographing actual scenes with a motion picture camera. The process of film making is both art and industry. Films were originally recorded onto plastic film which was shown through a movie projector onto a large screen; more modern uses digital filming and storage, such as the red one camera which records onto hard-disk or flash cards. Films are usually created by specific cultures which reflect those cultures, and in turn , affect them. Film is considered to be an important art form, a source of entertainment, and a powerful medium for educating-or indoctrinating-citizens.Some films have become popular worldwide attractions by using dubbing or subtitles to translate the dialog into the language of the viewer.

         Preceding film in origin by thousands of years, early plays and daces had elements common to film: scripts, sets, costumes, production, direction, actors, audiences, storyboards, and scores. In mid-19th century, inventions such as the phenakistoscope and zoetrope demonstrated that a carefully designed sequence of drawing, showing phases of the change appearance of the objects in motion, would appear to show the actually moving if they were displayed one after the other at a sufficiently rapid rate.The sensitivity was gradually improved and in the late 1870's Eadweard Muybridge created the first animated image sequences photographed in real-time. A row of cameras was used, each in turn capturing one image on a glass photographic plate, which was limited by the number of cameras, about two dozen at most.

         by the end of the 1880s, the introduction of length of celluloid photographic film and the invention of  motion picture cameras, which could photograph long rapid sequence of images using only one lens, allowing several minutes of action to be captured and stored on a single compact reel of film. In the 1920s, the development of electronic sound recording technologies made it practical to incorporate a soundtrack of speech, music and sound effects synchronized with the action on the screen. Inthe early 1950s, the proliferation of the black-and -white television started seriously depressing  North American theater attendance. In attempt to lure audiences back into the theaters bigger screens were installed, widescreen processes, polarized 3D projection and stereophonic sound were introduced.

       Digital technology has been the driving force for change throughout the 1990s and into the 2000s. digital  D projection largely replaced earlier problem-prone 3D film systems and has become popular since the early 2010.

PlayStation

             The play Station(PS) is a series of video game console created and developed by Sony Computer Entertainments. The first brand was released on December 3, 1994 in Japan with the lunch of the original Play Station Console. The first console in the series, the PlayStation, was the first video game console to ship 100 million unites in 9 years and 6 months after its initial lunch. Its successor the PlayStation 2, which was released in 2000 is the best selling home console to date, having reached over 150 million units sold as of January 31, 2011  .Sony's latest console, the PlayStation 3 was released in 2006 has sold over 75 million consoles world wide.
              The first handheld game console in the PlayStation series, the Play Station Portable or PSP, has sold over a total of 72 million units worldwide as of September 14, 2011. Its successor, the PlayStation Vita,  which lunched in Japan in December 17,2011 and in most other major territories in February 2012 has sold in excess of 1.2 million units as of the end or February 2012.

                                            CONSOLES

    PlayStation- The original PlayStation was released on 3rd December, 1994 which was the part of the the fifth generation of the video game consoles competing against the Sega Saturn and the Nintendo 64. By Match 31, 2005, the play station and the PS-one(a smaller version of the original)  had shipped a combined total of 102.49 million units, becoming the first video game console to sell 100 million units.
 
    PlayStation 2- Released in 2000, PlayStation 2 is part of the six generation of video game consoles competing against the Xbox and the Nintendo GameCube. It had backwards-compatible due to which it was able to play the games from the original PlayStation. It is the most successful home console in the world, having sold over 150 million units as of January 31, 2011. After four years of the lunch of the original PlayStation 2, PS2 slimline was the first major redesign of the PlayStation 2. This version of PS2 was smaller, thinner , quieter and also included a built in Ethernet port. From 2007 they began shipping a revision of the Slimline which was lighter then the original Slimline together with a lighter AC adapter.

  PlayStation 3- Released on November 17, 2006 in North America, the PlayStation 3 is a seventh generation game console  competing with the Microsoft Xbox 360 and the Nintendo Wii. The PS3 is the first console in the series to introduce the use of  motion-sensing technology through its Six-axis wireless controller. The PS3 was originally offered with either a 20 GB or 60 GB hard drive, but over the year its capacity increased and is available up to 500 GB. The PS3 has sold over 78 million. Like its predecessors, the PS3 was re-released in 2009 as a "slim" model which was 33% smaller, 36% lighter, and consumes 34% to 45% less power.It sold in excess of a million units within its first 3 weeks on sale. The PS3 slim also runs quieter and is cooler than the previous models due to its 45 nm Cell. In 2012, Sony revealed a new "Super Slim" PlayStation 3. This model was 3-4.3 pounds lighter than the previous "slim" model. The console comes with either a 250 GB or 500 GB hard drive.

  PlayStation 4- The PlayStation 4 is an upcoming video game console for the Sony Computer Entertainment announced at a press conference on the February 20, 2013. In the meeting, Sony revealed some hardware specifications of the new console. This eight-generation system is expected to lunch in the forth quarter of 2013. Among the new applications and services, Sony will introduce the PlayStation App, allowing PS4 owners to turn smartphones and tablets into a second screen to enhance the gameplay.

League Of Legend

            League Of  Legend( LOL ) is a free online PvP game developed and published by Riot games for Microsoft windows and mac OS X, inspired by defend of the ancient(DOTA). It was released in 2008 and has been rapidly growing and gaining  popularity in the years since.

           

               It is played by two teams five on each sides on summoner's rift and three on each side on twisted tree lines. Each player has to choose champions to play with. The players have to buy champions to play with by either the points they earn form playing or by the credit points they buy using their credit cards. The players are also able to choose from the free to play champions who are changed every week. There are more than 114 champions with their own skins to choose from. 

           

            The game is won by destroying the opponents Nexus. To destroy the Nexus, the player must go through a serious of turret which is found along the path to the enemy champion base which is called as lane. Along the way, each players must gain level and earn coins to buy different items which raise their status . The player can gain level and coin by killing enemy champions,minions and monsters found in the jungle, and also by destroying the enemy's turret. 

           

              This game has won different awards some of them are IGN PC Best strategy game 2009, Gamespy Gamers' Choice award 2009, first Game Developers Online Choice Award 2010 and Golden Joystick Award 2011.
